You can choose to do Burning Crusade or Wrath of the Lich King in any order up to level 80.īurning Crusade zones will scale to level 80 and start at a minimum level of 58 in Hellfire Pennisula.Vanilla zones will scale to level 60, except for starting zones which scale to level 10.In addition, they are now letting you do certain expansions in a different order if you choose. However, the minimum level for each zone varies from zone to zone and you'll need to achieve a certain level before starting certain zones. The quests in each zone will scale up to a cap. Secondly, the new Zone & Dungeon scaling has also been introduced to the PTR. In order to get those 4 extra bag slots, you'll need to attach an Authenticator with your account, if you already have one then you will automatically receive the upgraded backpack. Disappointingly it is only an additional 4 slots, however every little helps when you're handling a large inventory of stock!

Patch 7.3.5 was introduced to the PTR this week and you can check out the full coverage right here on (spoiler warnings), however I wanted to draw attention to some specific things that are interesting from the gold-maker's perspective.įirst of all, the recently announced increase in default Backpack size has been implemented. As the saying goes, “give a man a fish and you feed him for a day teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime”. I will be looking at the bigger picture, the decision making and thought processes in being a gold maker – rather than a step by step instructional list. The format will not be that of a traditional guide, but links to further reading with commentary and opinions of my own. Some that you might have missed as a veteran gold maker, or you might be interested in checking out for the first time as a new or aspiring ‘goblin’. I hope to cover and showcase some of the interesting topics, discussions, content and guides that have been going on over the last week in the gold making community.
